Activities of Daily Living Assessment and Retraining

Observations, analysis and intervention with tasks such as showering, dressing, grooming, hygiene, mobility and functional mobility. 

Instrumental Activities of Daily Living Assessment and Retraining

Observations, analysis and intervention with tasks such as cleaning, cooking, shopping, gardening, home maintenance, money management, travel training and driving. These tasks usually involving higher cognitive processing ability.

Fine and Gross Motor Skill Training

Activities, exercises and therapy that assist to develop fine and gross motor functioning.

Sensory Integration Therapy

Can assist participants in completing daily tasks, self-regulation and emotional de-escalation.

Social Skill Training

Development of communication skills (verbal and non verbal), gestures, body language and personal appearance.

Supported Independent Living Assessment

A complex and comprehensive assessment involving observations from both activities of daily living and instrumental activities of daily living. Also involves a cognitive assessment and development of a report. 

Assistive Equipment Prescription

Recommending, educating and prescribing equipment that allows participants to more easily or safely complete a specific task or build up specific skills. This may involve completion of a NDIS specific Assistive Technology Request Form. 

Cognitive Screening Assessments

A standardised way to understand how well participants understand and process information. Very helpful to determine an individuals level of disability in specific areas as well as their safety, judgement and unique learning style.

Lymphoedema Management

Lymphatic drainage massage, compression bandaging, exercise prescription, garment prescription and education.

Specialised Education

Falls prevention, energy conservation, task simplification, pressure injury care, safe manual handling and much more.
